Master Teacher

Ms. Dorie is a seasoned master educator with over three decades of experience in early childhood education. Her passion for nurturing young minds is evident in the vibrant, engaging and emotionally safe environment she creates in her classroom. Ms. Dorie holds a master’s degree in public administration and is well-versed in the latest early childhood research, ensuring a balance of play and learning in her curriculum. Ms. Dorie also teaches the Foundations to Early Childhood Education for BYU students who are exploring ECE as their major. She loves watching them become excited about how they can influence children’s hearts and minds and essentially make this world a better place, just like Mister Rogers did for her. He is one of her heroes in life. Mentoring, educating, listening, and helping parents navigate the ups and downs of parenting is something Dorie enjoys each day!
