The Child and Family Studies Laboratory provides a summer enrichment camp for children having completed grades 1-4 to focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). We offer an engaging, hands-on science and math curriculum based on the Utah Science State Core for grades 1-4. Enrollment is limited to 12-15 children per session with a public school teacher hired to teach each camp with the support of a BYU student. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registration is accepted in February through April 15th of this calendar year. Unlike our three other programs, payment is made upon registration. When camps become full, we will add children to a waiting list for that camp upon parents' request. If and when a spot becomes available we will email parents informing them that their child has been moved off the waiting list and placed in that camp session.
Each camp is $90. Confirmation of your child's placement in a camp will be sent out each week until registration closes. If payment is not received within that your child has been registered in a camp you will receive an email informing you that your child has been dropped from that session. Because of the high popularity of the camps, we are unable to hold any spots without payment.
